1/24 Scale Monogram Ford F-350 "Duallie" Pick-up Truck

.

The Ford dually pictured was originally built about 10 years ago.  As you can see it was thrown together rather quickly and has no detail what so ever.  Once I am able to get the truck back to the shop, it will be completely overhauled for a more detailed look.

1/25 Scale Revell Mean & Nasty '86 Camaro Z-28

.

The Mean and Nasty was built about 20 years ago by my little brother.  Again, there was very little attention to deatil when he built the Camaro and it is in dire need of a rebuild.

1/25 Scale Green Hornet Ford "T" Show and Go Roadster

.

I acquired this kit from Ebay along with another kit from Revell.  I was actually after the Revell kit and figured what the hell I'll take both.  When I first saw this, I had a lot of ideals going through my mind as to what I can do with it, but decided it would look good box stock and update what I can along the way.  For being an older kit, it went together surprisingly well.  After looking at the box, I found a copyright date of 1960.  I painted the engine the same color as the body.  The body came in three separate pieces, again being an older kit the molding is unbelievable good.  The body was straight and all the parts that attached to the body were straight.  I covered the car in Tamiya's TS-50 Mica Blue  As for the interior, there is not much to it since it is based on a 1960's drag/show car it has a  60's sling seat that was used for racing.  One of the only modifications I did was I replaced the shifter with one that was fabricated from a straight pin.  The suspension is straight forward and needed no modifications.  Stay tuned for some updated pictures of this ride since it is now completed.

1/25 Scale Monogram 2 'n 1 Jeep CJ-7

.

I replaced the kit engine with an old NASCAR engine I had in the parts box.  After shortening the transmission and adding some round styrene as an adapter, I was able to use the kit transfer case.  The body is covered in Krylon white.  I have some other things to do to the body and then it will be done.  I will also be adding a 6' whip antenna to round out the off road look.  I have changed out the kit seats for some Recaro seats from Fujimi.  I also replaced the kit steering wheel with one from Fujimi also.  I will be adding four point harnesses to both seats.  Well I got these Super Swampers and thought they would go great on this Jeep.  After looking at the chassis and suspension I noticed a lift was in order.  I lifted the Jeep approximately 10 scale inches.  This gave it a perfect height and the wheels go on the it perfectly.

1/25 Scale Monogram Off-Road Adventure Set with Datsun Pickup, Off-Road Bikes and Trailer

.

This Datsun was another Ebay purchase.  What really drew me to the kit was the offroad bikes and trailer.  I was curious as to how detailed the bikes and the trailer were.  After starting this kit I decided on some modifications to the truck.  The kit exhaust has been replaced with dual exhaust pipes connected to two Fujimi mufflers from a Fujimi Grade Up Parts Kit and then ran straight out the back.  I am still trying to finish up the exhaust system.  Everything else on the truck, trailer, and the bikes is built box stock.
